Beef, Steamed Rice and Bok Choy
| I planned on cooking Spicy Beef with Steamed Rice and Bok Choy but when I made the marinade last night, Ron turned up his nose and refused to allow me to ruin a piece of meat. So instead, he marinated a piece of flank steak in Mr. Yoshida's Teriyaki sauce. Then broiled it in the oven for about 8 minutes or so. I made the rest of dinner following the recipe. This was our first time having Basmati rice. I must say it was good. I liked the way it remained in separate grains and did not clump together. This was also our first time cooking bok choy. I can't say we've ever had it. I didn't use the full amount of garlic only because I was too lazy to cut it up. The bok choy was good but it finished too early and would have been better going straight to the plate.
