New Plants in Garden

This is so exciting. We have a new plant coming up in our garden. Since we purchased our home in August and haven't spent a whole season here, I have no idea what this plant is in the garden. The leaves are beautiful. My guess would be Tulips. Now we just have a waiting game to see what develops. Any suggestions?

Felicia, can I tell you that I hate you - well not really, I'm just very jealous. It's bleak and grey and freezing here in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. There's no chance any cute flower will be sticking it's head above ground for at least 3 months.

    Gorgeous photo, by the way.

    Thanks Ruth!

I can't wait to see what develops. These little plants have been popping up all over the garden beds. Though today it is VERY windy and it is gray and bleak here (Seattle, WA) too. Several of the plants have that windblown look now.

Though it is not FREEZING, we have not seen the sun but a couple of times in the last three months.

I'll post more pictures when they bloom. ;)
