I love Blogging!

I started blogging a while back but I began my food blog at Thanksgiving 2005. I was unaware until this weekend of all the other people who are food blogging. Already, I have learned so much from all the other food bloggers out there, that I can't wait to incorporate more into my food blog. My THANKS to ALL the pro bloggers sharing their food stories. I look forward to keeping up with your blogs.

My food blog was started just to convince my husband that we really do NOT eat the same things all the time. But it is turning into so much more. I love the fact I can blog from work and look back to see when we last ate a certain meal. It also helps when you find leftovers in the fridge and are wondering when it was made. Of course, my thought is usually "be safe, throw it out."

Some features I plan on incorporating are my Cooking Library - a list of my cookbooks, My Kitchen Wish List - a list of items I want to add to my kitchen, my Grocery List - maybe I will quit losing my list, and my Recipe Wish List - a wish list of recipes I want.

Improvements I would like to make are learning to plate my meals better for presentations and pictures, taking pictures of everything I blog, and including the recipes for our dinners.

Goals for 2006 are to include more veggies in our diets, find more fish recipes, and planning more balanced meals (I love starchy foods such as potatoes, pasta, and rice). I also plan on paying more attention to foods we are buying and trying to incorporate more organic foods, foods with less preservatives, and eating more naturally.
